Courses from a variety of departments will encourage students to explore disability, accessibility, advocacy, and engagement in society from multiple perspectives.

Policy, centering on the linkage between accessibility and policies, programs, and services.
Advocacy and Engagement, including writing and language, concentrating on communication and advocacy skills.

Technology
The IMIT received generous donor funding to bring the following technology to Buffalo, NY to better serve our patient populations.
Conditions Treated
Neurological conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons disease, cerebral palsy. In addition to neurologic conditions, the IMIT also treats orthopedic conditions such as joint pain, overuse injuries, ACL reconstruction, and more. The IMIT features equipment for pediatric sizing and the equipment is appropriate for geriatric patients to accommodate rehabilitation needs across the lifespan.
